Ich habe gerade den Artikel von Andrew Kisslo „A Tale of Two Cities – „Gone Google“ and Microsoft Office 2010 twelve months later…“ zum Vergleich von Google Apps und Microsoft Office und den entsprechenden Onlineangeboten gelesen. Wie der Name des Blog „Why Microsoft“ schon vermuten lässt ist der Blog stark Microsoft affin. Trotzdem sind die Informationen wirklich lesenswert.

I am a longtime reader of Mark Miller’s Blog „EndUserSharePoint„. Mark provides a wide range of interesting information around SharePoint mostly focused on „no code“ solutions for the guys without administration rights or access to the 12 /14 Hive. Mark also has a wide range of guest authors from all over the world like Christian Glessner from DataOne contributing SharePoint stuff. When I got into contact with Natasha Feldman, one of his collegues, asking if I could provide information about the German SharePoint User Groups I suggested writing an article about the German „SharePoint User Group Ecosystem„.

Cloud Readiness

…ist der Aufhänger für das nächste Treffen der SharePoint User Gruppe München, das am 14.09.2010 stattfindet. Deshalb steht dieses User GruppeTreffen auch ganz im Zeichen von BPOS und Cloud Computing. Geplant sind u.a. ein Vortrag zum Thema Microsoft Online Services und vielleicht bekomme ich auch noch einen Vortrag zum Thema Azure und Microsoft Cloud Strategy.

Das Treffen findet ab 17:00 bei der Logica in der Nockherstr. 2 statt – für das leibliche Wohl wird gesorgt!

Ich würde mich freuen, wieder viele Teilnehmer begrüßen zu dürfen.

Mir geht es dabei vor allem darum, die aktuellen Hürden und Chancen aufzuzeigen, aber immer auch die Unterschiede zwischen Web 2.0 und Enterprise Techniken zu beleuchten sowie organisatorische Voraussetzungen zu definieren.
